EWPAA Certification Marks

The following are the various EWPAA Certification Marks (which are sometimes referred to as "Brands" or "Stamps"). Products with these marks indicate that the product is certified by the EWPAA.

Exterior Plywood - A Bond
Exterior plywood marked “Tested Exterior EWPAA Plywood” is manufactured and product certified to Australian New Zealand Standard AS/NZS2271-2004 Plywood and Blockboard for Exterior Use and possesses a Type A Bond.

Exterior Plywood - B Bond
Exterior plywood marked “Approved B-Bond EWPAA Plywood” is manufactured and product certified to Australian New Zealand Standard AS/NZS2271-2004 Plywood and Blockboard for Exterior use and possesses a Type B bond.

Structural Plywood
Structural Plywood marked “Tested Structural EWPAA Plywood” is manufactured and product certified to Australian New Zealand Standard AS/NZS2269.0-2008 Structural Plywood and possesses a Type A bond.
Interior Plywood
Interior plywood marked “Approved Interior EWPAA Plywood” is manufactured and product certified to Australian and New Zealand Standard AS/NZS2270 - 2006 Plywood and Blockboard for Interior Use and possesses either a Type C or D bond.
Marine Plywood
Marine plywood marked “Tested Marine EWPAA Plywood” is manufactured and product certified to Australian and New Zealand Standard AS/NZS2272 - 2006 Marine Plywood and possesses a Type A bond.
Formwork Plywood
Formwork plywood marked “Tested Formwork EWPAA Plywood” is manufactured and product certified to Australian Standard AS6669 - 2007 Formwork Plywood and possesses a Type A, B or C bond.
Structural Laminated Veneer Lumber
Laminated Veneer Lumber marked “Tested Structural Veneer Lumber” is manufactured and product certified to Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS4357- Part 0: Structural Laminated Veneer Lumber – Specifications and possesses a Type A bond.
Special Products
Plywood or other engineered glued structural timber products carrying the hexagonal Special Products Stamp have been manufactured to
(i) A combination of Australian Standards
(ii) An industry Standard
(iii) An individual company Standard
or a combination of the three as approved by the Australasian Plywood Quality Committee.
