JIS Mark Certification

The new JIS Marking system permits manufacturers, resellers or processors to display the new JIS mark to show conformance to JIS. The JIS Marking system is governed by METI (the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan) who control all aspects of its use.
For the JIS Mark scheme, ATCA (which is a subsidiary company of the EWPAA) as a Registered JIS Mark Certification Body (RCB) outside Japan will, in addition to ISO Guide 65, apply the requirements of Article 23 of the Industrial Standardization Law (Japan) for foreign manufacturers.
